Voices for Safety is driven by one badass woman with a big heart, a strong voice, and an unshakable belief that the truth deserves to be protected.

Hey, I’m Wendy Busse-Coleman a big-picture thinker, creative doer, writer, and all-around advocate. I launched Voices for Safety because, honestly, it’s needed a space where we cut through the noise, respect the tough moments, and have real, caring conversations. Most importantly, we make sure our voices rise above those who don’t prioritize safe streets, communities, schools, and more. 

This isn’t about keeping tabs on the media. It’s a movement.
A spot where one voice can spark a ripple leading to accountability, compassion, and real change.

I do the writing, designing, and speaking up all on my own but I’m here for anyone who’s ever felt ignored, misunderstood, or brushed off. Whether it’s calling out harmful comments from public figures or making easy-to-use guides to help communities spot media bias, I’m all about turning frustration into action and clearing up the confusion.

 

Safety isn’t just a nice-to-have it’s something we all need to take seriously and commit to together. I’m here to share the things you might not know, not as another talking head, but through my own lived experiences.

  • Her posts range from reflections on aging (“Why Call Us Seniors at 65?”), seasonal inspiration (“Spring’s Arrival – New Beginnings!”), and the tough challenges consumers face everyday such as customer service, and the subscription mazes.
  • Lately, she's been diving into creative writing, whipping up a series of fun children's bedtime stories called "Teddy Bear Tim and Sophia." The whole idea came from the special bond she shares with her 5-year-old granddaughter and her love for her favorite bears.
